South Padre Island
CASTING CALL
We are excited to be casting for the next round of our Visit South Padre Island campaign! Our goal is to cast as many local folks as possible. No prior on-camera work required.
Dates: Filming the week of September 29th-Oct 2nd, 2026 (Single Days Only)
Compensation: Based on Role (See Below)
Roles
Family | $1500 | 1 day
2 adults (30s/40s) + 2 kids 9 and older
College Friends (Real friend groups given priority) | $750 per person, 1 day
4 friends, ages 18–24
Adult Friends (enjoy oysters?!) | $750 per person, 1 day
5 Friends (2 couples + 1 single) age late 20s / early 30s
Winter Texans | $1500 per couple, 1 day
6 adults / 3 couples, age 60+

To help us determine the best fit for each role, please fill out the form or send an email to shaun@beandogfilms.com, upload a photo and if possible, submit a short video (based on the instructions below) by September 13th.
Photos are the most important, but if possible, please follow this script to record a short video (a cell phone camera is great).
1. Introduce yourself: name, age (ages of all participants if submitting as a family or group), and where you live.
2. Do you have any on-camera experience (okay if you don't).
3. Tell us about a personal experience you have with South Padre Island (if you’ve never been, tell us about a recent trip or experience to a beach town).
4. Can you swim, and do you have any experience with water sports? Tell us about a story where you had a lot of fun that includes the beach or water sports.
