Chime’s agency partner approached us to help tell the story of the company’s run at going public — from the first “flip” moment all the way to ringing the NASDAQ bell.
The Execution
We decided to tell two stories in parallel: the intensity of the IPO process itself (flip → road show → bell ring), and the longer journey from Chime’s inception to this milestone moment. Our team embedded with Chime across a dozen days — capturing the flip in San Francisco, the road show in New York and Boston, the bell ringing in Times Square, and life inside their offices. Along the way, we interviewed dozens of individuals who helped shape the company’s rise.
The Result
Currently, a brief trailer sets the stage for a forthcoming 27-minute documentary. The full film, releasing later this year, captures both the urgency of the IPO window and the broader arc of Chime’s culture, growth, and ambition — a rare inside look at a company on the brink of making history.
